Original Paramount Theatre Chairs — Set of Two

$500 per pair | Limited Quantity Available

Take home a piece of Austin history with a pair of original seats from the historic Paramount Theatre.

Approximate Dimensions for a pair 36" wide x 36" high x 24" deep. The historic ornamental end caps will not be included with the seats. Those are being restored and reinstalled in the Paramount Theatre. Please reference the photo on this page for what they will resemble.

These chairs were carefully removed from the Paramount auditorium as part of the theatre's once-in-a-generation restoration. A limited number are now available for purchase, offering Paramount friends and fans a special opportunity to preserve a piece of the theatre's history in their own homes, offices, businesses, or other spaces.

Each purchase includes two authentic Paramount Theatre chairs for $500. Quantities are limited and available while supplies last.

Important Details

These are authentic, well-loved theatre seats and are being sold as-is in their current used condition. Because they were installed directly into the Paramount auditorium:

• Chairs are sold in sets of two.
• Most seats will need to be mounted to a stable base or directly to the floor and will not stand independently.
• Leg heights may vary due to the slope (or "rake") of the historic auditorium floor, and some seats may require leveling or modification for installation in their new home.
• Individual sets will vary in appearance and condition.
• These seats are being made available as keepsakes of Paramount history and are not intended for resale. By purchasing a set, we ask that you agree not to resell the chairs to the public. If you no longer wish to keep them in the future, please contact the Paramount Theatre first so we can help find an appropriate next home for them.

Pickup

All chairs must be picked up from our downtown Austin location. Once your purchase is complete, a member of the Paramount team will contact you with pickup instructions and available scheduling information. Shipping and delivery are not available.

Bring home a piece of the Paramount's past—and give these historic seats a new place to tell their story.
